Rebecca Morgan is a Legal Director at DAC Beachcroft LLP. She is a data protection specialist with extensive experience, both advising clients in private practice and prior to that, working in-house in data protection in the public sector.

She advises clients across the full range of data protection issues in various sectors, and has undertaken data protection secondments with clients in the insurance and health sectors. Rebecca started her data protection career prior to qualification, working in the Regulatory Action division at the Information Commissioner’s Office, where she worked closely with the investigation and enforcement teams.

Rebecca’s in-house experience includes remediation work following an ICO audit, undertaking complex DPIAs, leading a GDPR compliance programme ahead of implementation, and data subject requests. She regularly provides data protection training to clients in various sectors on a broad range of data protection topics. Rebecca also has previous in-house experience advising on the Freedom of Information Act.
