 Records Management 2

 

Course Overview:

This course examines how to implement good records management practice. Led by John Wilson, Records Management 2 studies the implementation of a records management programme, building on the concepts and principles covered in Records Management 1.  The topics covered in Records Management 2 include:

  • introduction - initiating a records management project
  • records audit
  • process mapping
  • building a business classification scheme
  • measuring performance
  • EDRMS
  • sustaining a records management programme

Delegates who attend the Classroom sessions are encouraged to share their own experiences and ask questions throughout the day.

This course, taken together with Records Management 1 and Records Management 3, provides a thorough understanding of the entirety of the Records Management process.

This course can be used as credit towards gaining the Practitioner Certificate in Records Management.
