Leadership Skills for Compliance Professionals

Training course carries 5 hours CPD points

Courses take place in:

London and Dublin

Legal compliance is so much more than ticking boxes. Although research shows that a compliant organisation is one that runs more smoothly and is more profitable, in order to achieve that, other staff members must be willing to work with you.

Having other staff members working with you and supporting you is partly about promoting your messages throughout the organisation and incubating champions in other departments. But this is not just about giving them information, and it’s not the whole picture. You need to enroll and inspire them to get on board with your ideas.

This highly interactive session on leadership skills includes:

  • how to make the case for organisational compliance
  • how to move into the role of being Chief Inspirer in your organisation
  • the difference between motivating people through force or coercion on the one hand, and inspiring them to a new vision on the other
  • how to effectively develop, communicate and cascade your vision
  • how to be co-operative and collaborative in implementing the vision
  • getting others to see the value of engaging with compliance topics
  • where to start and how to develop the rollout plan
  • how to influence with integrity

The day is highly interactive with several opportunities for small group discussion to develop your strategies and to ask for help with your specific situation.
